DRUMSTICK

The drumstick is a long, cylindrical pod that typically measures between 8 to 18 inches (20–45 cm) in length. It has a green, fibrous outer skin and is filled with seeds. When immature, the pod is soft, tender, and edible, while mature pods are harder, with a more pronounced woody texture.

Drumsticks are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, potassium, and iron. They help support immune function, bone health, and red blood cell production. Drumsticks are rich in antioxidants such as flavonoids, polyphenols, and vitamin C, which help combat oxidative stress and protect the body from cellular damage.
